“Quality” is a lifetime of integrity and development
Over 35 years ago when we first started into the business of solving basement problems we were using products manufactured by other supply companies. We were just like any other company doing jobs in basements looking to accomplish successful jobs and create happy customers. We worked with different companies trying to find a good product that would do the job we promised the customer.We were looking for a reasonable profit, just like any other company in business. The problem was, too many times the products would not do the job claimed and we, being a company of integrity, would go back to the job and fix up the failed systems that did not perform as promised. One of our suppliers had a pretty decent system, for waterproofing basements, which did the job most of the time. The problem was, they would change the product and supply us with cheaper product that was not tested and would fail after a period of time. We were purchasing a product to solve basement leakage problems from one of the suppliers and they had used a cheaper ingredient in the product and it failed making many, of our customers homes go bad. It just about broke us. I said, “enough is enough” and we designed our own waterproofing system and corrected the bad jobs and solved a future problem of trying to explain to the unhappy customers why the product failed.
We encountered a similar kind of problem with an anchor system we were using to straighten buckling basement walls. What happened was a per cent of the anchors would fail, by pulling through the ground. We got tired of explaining to some of our customers why they pulled and then go back and correct the problem, thus, eliminating the profit of several jobs. So we developed our own anchor system and have installed thousands of them and, to this point, have totally eliminated the pulling problem. Since then, we have developed and engineered a basement wall brace system, to push the walls back again over a period of time without excavating. This system has performed extremely well, especially for the do-it-yourself home owners, because it is so simple to install and does not require specialized equipment to complete the job.
Our goal is to supply homeowners and contractors with quality products so they don't have to go through some of the pitfalls and pain we encountered with other supply companies.
